FABRIC CN x SALIG
The popular geometric, small scale print Faye in inspired by a 1950s pattern from one of Cathy’s many American textile and quilting books. Named partially after Cathy’s daughter Faye but the name was also a fitting name for that mid-century era.
The name Faye peaked between the 1890s and the 1920s which made it a typical “granny name” for the younger generation. Cathy pictured a woman in her 30s, in an American suburb in the 1950s, picking this fabric for the new home she was creating for her family.
Paired with the Spring Green SALIG Base, the pea green lampshade has a crisp freshness to it. Can you hear the sound of the season's first tulip stalks, emerging from the bulbs?
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Do not wash the lampshades. Use a soft furniture brush or a dust wand when cleaning.
