FABRIC CN x SALIG
Anna-Lisa Thomson was one of Sweden's most prominent ceramists, working a large portion of her life at the Upsala-Ekeby ceramic factory where she started working in 1933. Her work was innovative, testing new materials and decorative techniques and she won multiple awards and gained recognition not only in Sweden but also internationally.
She developed a signature style with round, organic shapes, often with her very distinctive green glaze. Cathy has collected her ceramics for years and when she came over a large floor vase in a pattern with horizontal and vertical stripes, she was compelled to make her own stripe inspired by this composition. The fabric Anna-Lisa is an homage to her work.
The softer saffron colorway looks fantastic together with the Acqua di Menta SALIG base. Here you bring home the poetic atmosphere in Portofino and the vibrant colors of the facades reflecting the light.
